You are Visitor # John Loesing, Project Director Dr. Terry Weyman, Founder | PROSTATE CANCER CLIMB A Reflection Terry, I had my colonoscopy this morning and while preparing yesterday, I thought about all the men who have prostate cancer and decided just how fortunate I am. I was complaing about having to fast and drink the phospho drink which made me virtually stay on the toilet all day. I had to get up at 5:30 this morning and got home at noon. I had 2 enemas and an IV but all through everything, I just kept thinking about how easy and minimal what I was going through compared to those guys. Preparing for this climb has been an inspiration because when I find something is hard to do or I am tired, I fall back on the courage these men must have to have to get through each day. Sincerely, Proceeds of the Prostate Cancer Climb will go exclusively to funding education and research. No portion of the proceeds will be designated for operating or administrative expenses. Distribution of the Hap Weyman Memorial Prostate Cancer Project Fund will be determined by the Independent Educational Research Funding Committee (IERFC). |
