You are Visitor # John Loesing, Project Director Dr. Terry Weyman, Founder | PROSTATE CANCER CLIMB There’s Hope For Everyone With Prostate Cancer, No Matter How Advanced
After speaking to my family and comprehending the seriousness of the situation, I learned that most of the traditional methods of treatment, no matter how innovative, probably would only delay the inevitable by a short time. As the semester came to a close, my father decided to take most of his savings to put towards a family vacation for Christmas to ensure that we could share some quality time together before his condition progressively got worse, although he would not admit that was the reason for the trip. In reality, we knew the truth. Needless to say, the trip was a lot of fun, although I distinctly remember one night at a restaurant in Florida when everyone was crying, based on the fact that it may be the last Christmas we get to spend as a family. We soon returned home and tried to adjust to regular life again while my parents compared treatment options for my dad. With nothing to lose, and everything to gain, they decided to go with alternative treatment. My mother had been studying health, nutrition, and homeopathic remedies for years, and even tried to make us eat Tofu for dinner on occasion, pretending it was chicken (but we knew it wasn’t chicken – Jeff could always figure it out). We did learn the value of health and began taking vitamins at an early age. Anyway – after changing his diet, adding a lot of exercise to his routine, and taking many vitamins and an herbal product called PC-SPES, his PSA came down steadily, until it reached it’s current value of 0.6. The cancer disappeared from his lymph nodes, and he has been positive and confident ever since that tough Fall of 1996. By simply changing his diet, exercise habits, and taking PC-SPES – he cured himself, with the dedicated help of mother who was up at 5:00am everyday to prepare his meals for the day. His doctors were astounded, and could not fathom how he got better. He beat all the odds by a mile, and the doctors could not figure it out. To this day, my father consults people around the world about his treatment, and speaks at conferences all over the country. He presents his story before urological boards of hospitals, and runs a website for people eager to learn more about his treatment and PC-SPES. Although we all understand that it may come back, we also realize that we should be positive and continue to push forward and help others. My father has helped many people, and we thank God everyday for his life. I am climbing this mountain in Argentina to help raise awareness and money for Prostate Cancer research. Please help me to help people around the world learn about the severity of this disease by donating whatever you can to this cause. Anything you can contribute will help, and you can sponsor me by clicking on the “Sponsor Me” link next to my picture. Thanks for your support! Sincerely, p.s. Stay off the red meat, avoid fatty foods, eat lots of beans, fruits, and vegetables. Proceeds of the Prostate Cancer Climb will go exclusively to funding education and research. No portion of the proceeds will be designated for operating or administrative expenses. Distribution of the Hap Weyman Memorial Prostate Cancer Project Fund will be determined by the Independent Educational Research Funding Committee (IERFC). |
